LESACA Attended the CrafDi Project Meeting in Athens

Lifelong Education Science Art Culture Association (LESACA) President Mr. Ünal YÜCE and Board Member Mr. Mecnun KARADAĞ participated in the face-to-face partnership meeting of our Erasmus+ project “Crafting Digitally: Bridging Artisans to Global Market (CrafDi)”, held in Athens, Greece between 18–21 June 2025.

Together with our international project partners, Luznava Manor (Latvia) and Helix Social Innovation Hub (Greece), we reviewed the progress made in the first half of the project and planned the next phases focused on training, dissemination, and e-commerce activities.

Project Outputs and Strategic Meetings

On the first day, the key project outputs developed so far—especially the Step-by-Step Guide, video training materials, and the platform-specific content guides—were presented in detail. These tools are expected to support rural artisans in enhancing their digital capacities and accessing global markets.

A special highlight of the day was a meeting with Prof. Dr. Giorgos Panagiaris, a renowned expert in cultural heritage preservation in Greece. The discussion took place within the context of the Joint Postgraduate Program in Museum Studies, organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of West Attica. We explored opportunities to integrate the project’s outputs into higher education systems and expand dissemination efforts at the academic level.

On the second day, the meeting continued at the National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST). Discussions focused on planning upcoming webinars, the Learning-Teaching-Training (LTT) activity, and national closing events. A detailed roadmap was created to guide the implementation of educational and promotional activities in Latvia, Greece, and Turkey.

LESACA’s Commitment

As LESACA, we are proud to take part in this important initiative aimed at increasing the visibility of artisans in a digital world, strengthening their e-commerce capabilities, and preserving cultural heritage for future generations.
